Research Projects and Interests:

My master’s research project focuses on the study of the role various physiochemical and biological properties have on the cellular uptake of nanoliposomal based delivery systems by melanoma cells. The aim is to design a nanoliposome delivery system with optimal uptake onto and into melanoma’s, using a quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM-D), with the goal of improving current treatment methods of late-stage melanoma’s and providing insight into the cellular uptake mechanics allowing for the design of better nanoparticulate delivery systems.
