Research Project and Interests:

Delivery of an iron/siRNA complex to induce ferroptosis in melanoma

  • Canada Graduate Scholarship-Master’s (2024)

    Dean's Honor List (2024)

  • As an undergraduate, my capstone project involved designing brain sectioning holders for clean, guided cuts of the ex-vivo brain tissue of small animals and primates as well as holders to contain and stabilize the brain sections while achieving optimal positioning in the radiofrequency coil during magnetic resonance imaging. I was also involved in an antibiotic susceptibility testing project using a colorimetric resazurin assay, which allowed the quantification of bacterial load in patient samples.

  • VP Communications, BBMESS (2024)

    Member, Biomechanics Club (2024)
